Paralegal in the Post Completions Team

We are looking for a talented paralegal to join our conveyancing team in Milton Keynes. As a member of the team you will assist your team leader on the post completion process for sale, purchase, transfer of equity, and re-mortgage transactions. You’ll need to be keen to learn and also have the confidence to deal with clients right from the very beginning, being both approachable as well as efficient to resolve matters as quickly as possible for our clients. You will need to have excellent organisational and time management skills, be able to work independently and be driven to provide an excellent service to our clients. In return, we will support you in developing your knowledge and progressing your career in law.

Responsibilities:

Land Registry Applications
Dealing with requisitions
Updating LMS / Lender Exchange
Archiving
Chasing for compliance certificates
Dealing with management company requirements
Stamp duty requirements

Requirements:

A high level of attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to your work
Effective personal, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple demands
The ability to work to tight timescales with a sense of urgency
The aptitude to work efficiently and effectively to progress your case load whilst maintaining the highest quality of work
