Administrator
We are looking for an administrator to help support our conveyancing team in Milton Keynes. As a member of the team you will assist the team with various administrative tasks. You’ll need to be keen to learn, have excellent organisational and time management skills, be able to work independently and be driven to provide an excellent service to our clients. In return, we will support you in developing your knowledge and progressing your career in law.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting post
- Allocating post to sub-teams
- Sorting, scanning, and filing mail in correct folders
- Dealing with ad-hoc post which arrives in the offic
- Answering the intercoms in both rooms.
- Assisting clients to the meeting room (ad-hoc).
- Announcing clients as necessary to the team after guiding them to the meeting room, offering
and making drinks. - Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, scanning.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Locating files required handing them to the team leaders as requested
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Keep calendars and record of supplies inventory for the office.
- Providing an order to Sandi to ensure the office supplies do not run out.
- Processing outgoing mail / ensuring post is sent daily.
- Shredding
- Empty shredding bin
- Provide support to paralegals, the office manager, and other staff, for the smooth operation
of the office. - Create various forms for effective correspondence, and perform data entry and general
administrative tasks, such as scanning and filing of documents. - Ensure all bins are emptied daily with the bags and recycling being placed in the correct area
for collection. - Crockery and Cutlery washed up daily.
- Ensure refreshments are replenished as required.
